Jurisprudence Exam... Check!

Last Friday, Josh took his Texas Jurisprudence Exam.  This was the final step in order to attain his Chiropractic license.  He was tested on the current Statutes (Texas Chiropractic Act) and Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners Rules.  It was 50 questions and needed a passing grade of 75% or better.

I am happy to announce that we received a letter for the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners last night saying "CONGRATULATIONS"!  We didn't even need to read any more... we were so relieved.  After we submit a one final fee, he will get his license in the mail within 10 business days!  WAAAAAHHHHHHH HOOOOOOOOOO!

Josh is so excited to be able to sign documents and letters as "Joshua Elliott, L.A.T., D.C."

Hopefully we will have something even bigger to celebrate after Josh's interview next Tuesday.  Stay tuned!!!!

"Holy Crap," said Mom

This evening, I was randomly recording Andrew's playtime when all of a sudden...

Andrew the Great

Two weeks ago, Andrew began his Army Crawl and one week later he was up on his hands crawling across the floor.  This week he can get just about anywhere, he has even followed me into the kitchen or another room.  Since he has recently become an explorer he is now nicknamed, Andrew the Great!

Here is one of the first few videos of Andrew crawling.  He displays a little bit of both crawling methods.

Davy Crockett Park, Crockett, TX

Drove 1 1/2 hours up to Crockett, TX. We stopped to visit Great Grandma Barbara
at the nursing home and picked her up to take her to Davy Crockett Park.

Arrived at the park and met Josh's mom, sisters and our nieces & nephews.
We all enjoyed a picnic lunch.

After lunch, the kids played at the park, adults visited and Andrew played in his bouncer (he also provided a little shade for Jewel, the most recent addition to the family).

I decided to take Andrew on his first official swing!  Weeeeeeeeeeeeee

After a couple hours at the park we were all getting hot and tired, so we headed back to the nursing home to drop off Barbara.  We stayed for a little while to feed Andrew and let him cool down before we hit the road.  The picture above shows him playing on Barbara's bed and pillows. We packed up and drove 1 1/2 hours home.

Andrew did so great on the trip. He took a nap on the way up there and of course he was exhausted after being outside for a couple hours so he slept on the way home too.  Once we returned home we unpacked, played, made dinner, went on a walk, bathed and Andrew was in bed by 8:00pm.  Good day.
